on becoming the new Chairman of the Slough Business Community
Partnership.

Rafiq Chohan says,
“Having just celebrated my 50 years in Slough this August, I am particularly proud to be have been afforded the honour to chair of one of the UK's top Business Community Partnerships. The contribution to Slough's community during the boom years from business was important but in a time of austerity and uncertainty it becomes even more important to maintain that commitment. I look forward to working with some of the World's best companies located in Slough to ensure we build the involvement of even more companies to supporting the Slough Community, I would start by urging Sloughs businesses to commit to attending our annual conference to hear about the remarkable work that has been done and to hear about how they could contribute themselves."
Slough Business Community Partnership is a ‘not-for-profit’ organisation that was formed in 2001. It provides much needed support for local charities and groups by encouraging its members and those companies not yet engaged to undertake activities in the community for the ultimate benefit of the residents of Slough.
